Meet Shaylen Young

Shaylen Young, Founder and CEO of Forever Young Visuals, knew early in life that he was a creative visionary.

Born in New Orleans and graduating from Patterson High School, he worked in the oilfield for 5 years during the beginning of his adulthood. Working in the oil field is hard work, and that is a quality that he still yields today. Relocating to Houston, TX, Shaylen added 12 years of customer service, management, sales, and tech support to his resume. His experience with customer service is evident in the way he handles his business now. Becoming a Full Sail University graduate, earning his Bachelor of Science in Music Business, Mr. Young knew that it was time to make a change in his career and networking circle.

As a single Father, Shaylen stated “My daughter pushed me for more. I didn’t want her to see me spending long days, settling for a job I hated. I wanted her to see that having a passion, being happy, and financially stable doing something you love is possible. Now she is a High School graduate pursuing her dreams as an entrepreneur.” His networking circle now consists of entrepreneurs in filmmaking and entertainment, which has helped shift his focus to cinematography. His vision has now been expanded to not only capturing memories but also being able to tell a story from those memories, Forever Young.
